                    ☆ An English haiku by our leader on a July theme:

                          Moving out over the sea,
                         So cool,
                         The shapes of clouds.

                   作者自注;
                       軽やかに飛ぶ夏の雲。日本海へ涼しげに・・・

                   The author’s comment:
                       The summer clouds drift lightly in the sky.
                       They look so cool over the Sea of Japan.

                     ☆ An English haiku by our leader on a June theme:

                       Gyogyoshi, the reed warbler,
                       Chirping noisily
                       While the baby sleeps soundly.

                     * “Gyogyoshi” is another name of reed warbler because of

                            its noisy chirrup sounding like “gyogyoshi.”  It is often

                            found near lakes in early summer.
